DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS.
From opening the pouch to the first bite, here’s the full walkthrough.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- One Jailhouse Burrito pouch
- Envelope-style paper measuring cup (inside the pouch)
- Hot tap water
- A cloth, shirt, towel, or pillow
PULL THE TOP OFF.
Pull off the sealed top of the pouch, leaving the resealable zipper intact. Open the zipper and take out the envelope-style paper measuring cup packed inside.
Pull the top off Take the cup out FILL TO THE LINE.
Use the included paper measuring cup to measure your water. Fill it with hot tap water up to the top marked line, then pour the water into the pouch. The marked line gives you the right amount—no separate measuring cup needed.
Fill to the line Pour into the pouch AIR OUT. SEAL. KNEAD.
Press all the air out of the pouch, then seal the zipper completely. Knead the bag and its contents well to spread the water throughout the mixture.
Air out, then seal Knead well PRESS IT FLAT.
With the pouch still sealed, press the contents down flat inside the bag. Flatten the mixture before wrapping or covering the pouch for its rest.
Press contents down Smooth it flat WRAP. REST. WAIT.
Wrap the sealed pouch in a cloth, shirt, or towel, or simply tuck it under a pillow. Leave it to sit for 8 to 10 minutes while the ingredients hydrate.
Wrap the pouch Rest 8–10 minutes OPEN. PUSH. ENJOY.
Uncover the pouch and reopen the zipper. Push the contents up from the bottom and enjoy. Keep pushing upward as you eat—the pouch holds the rest.
